The establishment of PAWLICA s.r.o. dates back to 1998, when its founder Ing. Rudolf Pawlica, CSc., decided to leave his career at the Research Institute of Agricultural Technology in Prague-Repi and embarked on an entrepreneurial career. From the beginning, the company supplied the Czech market with technologies for post-harvest treatment of cereals. The field of post-harvest lines was the life destiny of Ing. Rudolf Pawlica.
In 1998, Rudolf Pawlica founded a limited liability company under his own name and returned to drying cereals. The company built its first Stela dryer in 1995 in Šatov. Thanks to the expansion of corn and rapeseed, in the following years there was a great development for dryers and PAWLICA s.r.o. became the leading company in its field. Subsequently, the company added other brands of renowned foreign manufacturers to its portfolio, which it still stands by today. Ing. Pawlica was the spiritual and design father of the "Strážov drying plants", of which over 600 were installed at locations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia during his thirty-year tenure at the research institute. During this time he gained countless technical knowledge and suggestions that have been beneficial to his business. Among other things, they led him to the German dryer manufacturer STELA, which the company still relies on in its projects today.
